About Us
OUR COMPANY & HISTORY
SINCE 1925 — 100 YEARS
Message from the CEO
In 1925, our family began as a rice-milling business in Heda, on the western shore of the Izu Peninsula. Over the century that followed, we took on forestry, orchards, charcoal, landscaping and beekeeping — always working with the soil and the green of this land.
On the centenary of our founding, and with deep respect for the natural world we have long served, we launched our flower business in 2025 and established Sakakikaen Co., Ltd. in 2026.
Our promise is twofold: to deliver genuine hon-sakaki, worthy of the altar, with uncompromising quality; and to bring our century of experience to sensors and software for smart agriculture.
Honoring tradition, supported by technology — 'Tradition and innovation, in one garden.' That is the wish of Sakakikaen.
Hirofumi Inagi, Representative Director & CEO, Sakakikaen Co., Ltd.
